Welcome to my oasis in this vast digital world. My name is Hoài-Phương, a mother of two who discovered her passion with a brush and earthly materials. Residing in Italy, I’m a Vietnamese origin living simultaneously in the past and the present.

My art reflects this sentiment. I paint using natural pigments ground from the earth and minerals, with ink sticks made from the remnant of a boiling flame - a traditional Asian technique dating to the beginning of age. My art is a fusion of contradicting forces: the old and the contemporary, beauty and ugliness, birth and decay, of West and East. Like a plant seeking to root itself in foreign soil, I always contemplating the East and the West within my heart.

Life itself is a mystery, isn’ it? I find inspiration in the unknown: the energy that govern the harmony of life, the abysmal depth of the sea, of space, of my heart, in the sediment of humanity.
